Right and Wrong

When did right and wrong become subjective? If you harm someone else intentionally and it was not to defend yourself against an unwarranted attack, then you have done wrong. I don’t think it needs to be any more simple. If you see wrong being done and you do nothing, you are also guilty. If this is complicated to you then you need to consider your agendas. We are becoming a sociopathic society. If your a capable of stopping a wrong then you are obligated morally to do something. This does not mean you should become a vigilante. It does mean that if you are unwilling to make this a better society then shut the Hell up. Inactivity encourages evil. Remember the Holocaust. Many “good” people did nothing.

The yard sale

The Individual has obtained several excellent articles at yard sales recently. The yard, garage, moving, family, etc. sale is the “mall” of individuals. No two are alike and each has its own theme. They are the marketplace of individualism. Little do the yard sailers know but, they are part of a superior way. I got some great deals too.

Primping Fauntleroys

The Individual is disgusted by the castration of the American male. American men are becoming primping Fauntleroys, “metro-sexual”, urban dandies, prancing around with their streaked hair and manicured finger nails. I have met gays that were more manly than some of the simps that have wimpered past my view. The Individual couldn’t care less about sexual orientation but is disgusted by cowardness. No wonder we have a left wing, socialist movement in this country. The pansies need a party to gather in.

One commentor said that this attitude seemed “so 20th century”. It is true but, these things are timeless Mr. Zane.

Rugged individuals

Isn’t interesting that a little over one hundred years ago all Americans were rugged individuals? Each one was responsible for themselves and believed what they wanted to believe. How things have changed. The ant hill does not tolerate a free thinker. Socialism is the ideology of the ant hill. My friend Dave Sample pointed this out to me.

Battlefield of the mind

Good people must win a battle now and then lest the world become cynical and depressed. Fighting for what is right is the duty of good people. This does not just refer to wars and battling terrorists, etc. This also includes corruption, liars, cheats, or even against our own addictions. Even pacifists fight with their own demons each day. Waging a war on the mental battlefield can be strenuous and dangerous even though it is all just in ours minds. The Individual’s personal battle is with WORRY but, the Individual is still fighting.

Ideologies

While the Individual is tolerant of other’s beliefs, the Individual is cautious to point out that ideoligies can be used against individualism. The answers to all the world’s qustions can be found within one’s self. When all is said and done you are are alone in your destiny. All idealogies should be viewed with suspicion. To political ideologies - The proletariate, masses don’t need my sacrifice. To religious ideologies - God can do his own killing. To paraphrase Voltaire, let’s not philosophize too much.

People’s Republic of Canada

The Individual distrusts Kanadastan. Canada is a socialist nation that discourages individualism and has been too cozy with our enemies. The Individual would like to see Canadian access to US economy curtailed. Canadians should be required to have a passport and be monitored the same as any other foreign nationals. If the Canadians want to lick the jack-boots of their socialist handlers, so be it but, keep it up there in the frozen wasteland

Why the Individual?

The reason this blog is called the Individual is because the concept of being an individual with personal rights, liberties and responsibilities is being attacked by all sides. School systems are punishing self expression and individuality and forcing conformity and political correctness. Goverments and corporations want to destroy the Individual. The Individual will not accept this. The Individual will speak his mind and exercise his rights. The left wants to snuff out the Individual but, the Individual will not go away so easily. The Individual respects the rights of other individuals and will defend their right to speak even if the Individual disagrees with what is being said. Will other individuals speak out?

The 1911

I have been enamored by the 1911 .45 ACP for sometime. I originally owned a stainless Charles Daly with poor results. I find the Norinco to be the closest clone to the old goverment model. Unfortunally Slick Willy during his Caligula period in Washington quashed the ability of US citizens to obtain anymore of these gems.Norinco 1911
